Installation on Windows

After months of working around ActiveState bugs, we finally decided to scrap it and only support Cygwin Perl. The Metasploit Framework Win32 installer includes a slimmed-down copy of the Cygwin environment, this is the preferred way to use the Framework on the Windows platform. If you would like to install the Framework into an existing Cygwin environment, please refer to appendix .
